keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Ha,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Oh, nope. That ain't right either.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

are you trying to say what's happening?

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

I'm sorry to say what's going on.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Oh, oh, uh

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

man.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Maybe that's ke vamos or something like that.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

There we go, seniors.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Oh, oh yeah.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Uh, uh,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Uh,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

you getting ready to listen to Bad Bunny.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

I'm getting ready. That's what I was gonna ask you guys. Are you ready? We

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Hey,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

to 90 days.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

look,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

90

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

I got my 30 or 40 words in. I don't know how that, how that's going to, uh, serve me, but yeah, I'm sure I could pick up a few things from Bad Bunny.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Or just go ahead and put one of his songs on repeat. That way you can learn it and sing along.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right. Hey.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

I'm sure I'll be able to do that more or less right away.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah, so I saw that, Jay-Z kinda came out and tried to squash all that stuff that's been going on.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Oh wow.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

kinda communicated to say, Hey, one, it's, he's not getting paid.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

not getting paid for

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

right.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

being on stage. he wanted, and bad Bunny wanted to make sure that the fans gonna be safe. was concerned about that when he, before, even before Jay-Z even kind of made the finalization on it,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

who he was going to use.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Jay-Z was saying that his whole point of, the company, he's, is it Rockefeller? I guess it's through Rockefeller. I can't even remember.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Rockefeller part of this because he wanted to expose everyone to the underserved communities.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

And that's why he selected Kendrick last year. And this

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

selecting bad bunny this year, and who knows would be next year. But

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

point was, given a voice to these communities and that bunny wants to do what he can. showcase the Latin community

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right?

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

culture. So that's what I saw. I saw an interview with that. I thought it was pretty

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

came out and finally spoke on it.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

I didn't know that bad Bunny was not getting paid

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

gets paid during the Super Bowl show.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

really.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Typically what happens is when you get that exposure, you know the millions upon millions of people who.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Are now exposed to somebody that they may not have been exposed to. That in and of itself is a, that's a marketing cool right there. I mean, that advertising you can't pay for. I mean, you're not getting direct pocket, but you know, a lot of times the music that they sing, it becomes that much more popular because of the exposure, which means more downloads or purchases. So there is a benefit to the artist.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Oh, definitely, the crossover appeal and the new audience.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

the, here's another big, not big stage, but a big stage thing.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

NPR Tiny Desk, those guys don't get paid. They go to that, perform on that on their own costs.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Really.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

if they're smart, they would make it by being in that town, booking a gig while they're in that town

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

and selling merch or whatever.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right, right,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

things do come after that. But, npr, tiny Desk, those guys don't get paid for that. They just, again, it's a large stage audience on the internet.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

right, right.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah. Yeah. All right, gentlemen, so there's a lot of stuff, a lot of moving parts today in regards to just one thing, insurrection act.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

So Mike, you said you looked it up. You want just give us the official definition, or you wanna gimme the, let me give you the short version of.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Well, now this isn't a long version. This is from Wikipedia, the In Insurrection Act of 1807. It's the US federal law that empowers the President of the United States to nationally deploy the US military and to federalize the national Guard units of the individual states in specific circumstances such as the suppression of civil disorder, insurrection, and of armed rebellion against the federal government of the us. The Insurrection Act provides a statutory exception to the.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Com. Com

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

ATU Act

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

was 1878. That limits the president's deploying the US military to enforce either civil law or criminal law within the United States.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

The Insurrection Act provides the exception for the president to deploy. The military or the National Guards in cases of civil disorder or insurrection or rebellion

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

government of the United States Civil Disorder insurrection of armed Armed Rebellion,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

rebellion, armed rebellion

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

federal government of the us. That's what the Insurrection Act is supposed to, uh, protect us. How, how it's supposed, how it is supposed to protect us.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

I'll just add on to that and not to mention, Mike, it's supposed to. It'd be a last resort, and that last resort come in as a result of, the government, the cities and or states not being able to contain, individuals who decide to. Uh, go up against the government. Okay. And it's not even, I mean, it's defined separately, from a riot per se. Okay? It's this really rebellion that goes against not only federal law, but whatever that state might be. And it can't be contained by the forces IE the police department sheriff or what have you in that state. And so when you. Started talking about an insurrection act. It's, like you said, it's, it's, it's madness, it's chaos. It's, people who are violent trying to almost overthrow. And as an example, you can look at, when they rushed the capitol and, uh, what was that? That oh my God. Just recently, what was that? 2020 21? I'm sorry. I'm just having a brain freeze. But that, that would've been an insurrection. That would've been a time when he was chilling, just watching things take place for him to say, Hey, come on in here and let's squash this thing. And he didn't. And now that we're at Peace, he wants to, have chaos. He wants to really, bring in the forces so that there can be an insurrection. In other words, he's stoking the fires. He's stoking the flames. And what he wants is for people to rise up. And at that point then he can say, we have an insurrection. I mean, everybody's on to what he's trying to do. The problem is that, a lot of times with these laws, they're not defined specifically. And so as such, they're saying that. However he decides to define it, uh, there is, he does have some authority to, invoke the insurrection Act. But if we look at what's on the books. If there's not violence, if there's not a takeover, if there's not a situation where the, that states, government can't handle whatever chaos there is, then he would be a last resort. And if he goes beyond that, he's going outside of the law. He's, once again doing what he's done. So frequently, so far in the last, nine to 10 months, he's gonna be breaking the law.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

What is considered an insurrection. While the term insurrection is not explicitly defined by federal law courts and legal scholars generally interpreted as a violent or organized resistance against the. Government or its regulations, and that's from the federal criminal attorneys, dot com.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

So an insurrection is not explicitly defined by

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

law, but the courts and legal scholars have said, yeah, it's a uprising or organized resistance against the government or its regulations. That's not to say that people don't have the right to protest. If the protest is not violent, then they have the right to

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

such as you know the No Kings. the last four insurrections in the United States, this is going back to 2014, the Bundy standoff. That was April 5th through the 14th, and then the occupation of the Hur National Wildlife Refuge. I remember that. That was 2016. The Capitol Hill occupied protests. That was in 2020 June 8th. To July 1st,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

course the last insurrection, 2021 United States Capitol attack

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Correct.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

by the fascist and felon of the United States. So, bottom line is he, you're right. He wants to provoke a fight.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

He want. He's the instigator right now.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Instigator, right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

deployment of federal troops. The prevailing theory seems to be that he is going to try and deploy them to polling places.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Before you get to that, here's the thing I wanted to circle back to that, which we've said numerous episodes about the elections and my observations is. That now we have this, quick reaction forces that they're mobilizing. They want 500 troop type, military or federal, officers be ready to deploy in each state Now. Before they get to the elections, I think they want to normalize these guys being seen cities and in the States.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Uhhuh

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

So when they do get to the pollings, it won't be questioned why they're standing there.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Well, that's been the intent

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

it. It would be, I would question it

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

the

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

that

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

no violence going on at polling places, why are you there?

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

To snatch the election machines or whatever if,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Exactly.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right, right. As soon as he says, oh no, I don't like

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

the, the count's not going this direction or count's not going his way. Or

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Hasn't the courts ruled against him going into, what community? Not California. What was the last community? Was it Utah? What was the last community? He was trying to,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Portland, Oregon.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

maybe it was Portland. I thought it was Utah, but maybe it was Portland.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Francisco.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Recently the,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

did

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

the

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

no, you can't

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Chicago You Can't Deploy in Chicago is another one. That's going to up to the courts and obviously they're going to, throw it up to the Supreme Court at some point to make a decision, which we should be concerned about that. But as it stands, the courts are saying, you know what? That it's against, it's outta your realm to deploy forces, without the wishes or without the request that the governors of it, of those states. So,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

That's true.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

But everything he has been doing has really. Been against the Constitution, and again, against the law, as we've known it.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Here's the thing though, with these quick reaction forces, they're being trained to be able to handle the civil disturbances, and they're trained to be able to do it. Nonphysically. Like with just batons and stuff like that. Not necessarily using a rifle. I'm just saying

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

That's pretty physical.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

you

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

You,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

me looks,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

you ever been hit with a, you ever been hit with a baton?

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

They're not gonna be waving at them magically to make people disappear at time. They're going to, they'll be employing those batons.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah. So

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

I,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

it,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

that,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

It also says, trained in crowd control techniques, including the use of non-lethal equipment like batons, body shields, and pepper spray.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah, that's, what they say.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

But when it comes down to it, people are trigger happy. They're gonna shoot,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

line.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

go, that goes back to Kent State. Is it Kent State?

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

correct,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Kent State. Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

And that wasn't even an insurrection.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

No

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

were

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

protestors.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

National Guard

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

No.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

were not attacking them any, they didn't have guns, they weren't throwing stuff

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

The National Guard people just got trigger happy and just said, ah, I can't take it no more. I just started shooting them.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

You guys realized the last time the Insurrection Act was invoked was, 33 years ago after the Rodney King, decision.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah. 92.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

So it's been, I think it was by Bush.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah. So,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

that, that would've been proper.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah there was chaos and they, yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

That was proper.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

And then before that, was it the, the desegregation happened of schools, they had to have the military come in because the sheriff's

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

I

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

the local police.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah. And,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

when they crossed the Edmond Pettus Bridge? Is that what it

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

that was

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah, in 65?

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yep.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

we've got all these examples, but I wanted to just discuss the insurrection Act lightly, because I wanted to get to the point of, Mike and I had a conversation. Well, I listened. Mike said that,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mike.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

it's gonna be a revolution.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

A revolution is going to happen. And he, he

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

thinking it was gonna happen in a, when Trump was around the very first time. now I think they're leading up to it. There's reinforcement fencing around the White House. administration are moving to military bases

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

the reason they're moving, because they're being harassed,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Outside their homes.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

The only reason I see this is again, Keith sometimes has to walk me off the ledge when I get to the point of being conspiracy theories. But my thought is that they are preparing for an upheaval

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

going to take place and that they need to be behind a fence and bet and guard and guarded.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

That's what fascists do. They're gonna run scared. They're thin skin, they're gonna run scared. Like he said, he's provoking the fight.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

He is. He's the instigator

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

the violence.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

The radical violent right instigating this violence, any violence that happens, they're the instigators. So he can talk all he wants to, and I could barely stand to watch him last night. I don't know why he can turn that on, but he can say what he's the one that is the fight and yes, I can, I understand. They're putting up fencing, running to their bunkers. So if they're doing that, what are the rest of us? What should we be doing?

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah. Really?

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

they're preparing for,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

we get prepared? Also just like Trump said, he wants to start nuclear testing because Russia and China are testing. So he said we should be doing tests too. We should. We should be getting ready too,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

And we should, and we should be getting ready. Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

We should follow the president's lead.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

be violence. Well,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

And that, that provokes even more violence.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

You know what I mean?

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah. I mean, I think that,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

it.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

I think by and large, we, when I say we, I mean the people have done a good job, really, even with the 7 million that showed up for the no Kings of displaying calm and being collected. But I think at the end of the day, what's really gonna make a difference is, whatever upcoming elections that we have and how those impact, whether it be the New Jersey Governor race, or the Virginia Governor race, or the New York Mayor race, and how those things play out. And we'll see. It gives us an opportunity to kind of gauge where people are in terms of their temperature, in terms of, whether or not they're ready to scale back from, maga it's one thing to be Republican, but it's another, it's a whole nother thing to be a MAGA person, right? And so are they going to begin to scale back? Will that be reflected in the voices used by voting? And that's where you'll see. Whether or not, the MAGA loyalists will get stronger in terms of what they, the tricks and the ploys they use to try to incite us or violence amongst the people, or whether or not they can say, Hey, this is really playing out the way we want it to. People are passive. We're able to do what we want to do. The courts are saying what they want, and yet we don't have to, we don't have to abide by court decisions. And then. Even so, uh, when it gets up to the Supreme Court, they seem to always, well, more recently they give, uh, Trump his a nod in terms of, doing whatever he wants to do. And so I think at the end of the day there could be, a revolution. And for all intents and purposes, there should be but it would be at what point, at what level? Because the people have to speak, right? Decisions are made from the bottom up, not from, and I heard on the M-S-N-B-C, not from the top down, not by, the five richest people in the nation. Who determine, what we do, what we see, what we say the people have to speak because this is a democracy. And if it's gonna continue to be a democracy, then revolution could be necessary. But I think first and foremost, when, uh, when the votes are counted and the votes that are coming in, whether it's now or the midterms, the people will speak and then we will see, what actions are taken either by the Democrats or the Republicans to try to direct. Where we go from here because you and we all know that democracy is at risk right now.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yes. Yeah,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

that's very true Keith figure that'cause voting takes place, tomorrow

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

in, in quite a few states.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

and the governor's two ticket go Virginia and Jersey. Right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

In Jersey. Yep.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

can't think of any other ones. I'm

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

out there, but,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah. But those are the two where Obama showed up and, kinda stumped for both of them.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

yes.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

And, uh, yeah, so those are those that's important to see if the people turn out and if, if their voices, will be heard,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

But.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mike, have you heard from any of your friends who kind of gave you some insight on the shutdown?

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Not really other than, losing their paychecks, but not all I can tell you is it is gonna last past Thanksgiving.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

For sure.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

That's right. That's what, that's a universal acknowledgement that, nope, this is not gonna be solved before Thanksgiving and. Fascist in chief come out today and says, this will end when the Democrats give in. That's his, his exact

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

He can, like I said before, he can make deals all over the world. He solved what, eight wars and eight months or whatever on eight weeks, whatever his timeline is, but he doesn't seem. To be able to, or doesn't even want to keep his own country going.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right, right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

You can make deals, you're the great deal maker, but you don't, you're not even trying to make a deal here you are

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Nope, do what we say the way we say it,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

why it's gonna remain shut down.'cause nobody trusts him.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Nobody trusts the Republican Party at this point.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

No way.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

take away people's healthcare and then say, oh, well negotiate,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right?

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

later. You are not gonna negotiate. You're not gonna bring it

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

you won't. Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

years to come up with a healthcare plan and you haven't done it yet.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

And even last night when he was pressed healthcare, he still, we're just not, we're just gonna take this away.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

He doesn't have a plan.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

He doesn't have a

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Oh yeah, they

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

of a

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

were saying it was a poor, a poor plan, but they still don't have one to back to replace it with.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right. Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

it, it's my understanding, the Affordable Health Healthcare Act was their plan

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

with a few modifications. It was

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

So, like most things, Republicans don't like it when anybody else does anything positive, even if it's with their even if you agree, even if a Democrat agrees with the Republican, say, yeah, let's do what you said, do. the Republican will say, well, uh, this, I, I wanna do this. It's your plan.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right, right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

We agreed to do your plan. And you come back and say, oh, because you guys are in charge and are gonna implement that plan. Oh, well, we we're not gonna do that.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Then come up with another plan.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah. I mean, that's why we are where we are, Mike, because they've been playing hardball for a while. They've been playing politics for a while,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Since

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

and well, I.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yep. Mm-hmm.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

they've been playing politics, but if you're playing politics, you find a way to meet in the middle, you, you will compromise. But they've decided that, particularly in this era of maga, that it's my way or the highway. If we don't do it our way, we are not doing it at all. And so now you're fighting fire with fire.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

know, that being said, I did see where supposedly, they're going to provide for partial snap payments, as opposed to the court said that, it's illegal to just not disperse those funds, so they're going to provide partial, but if they had decided that they were going to provide the full payments, it would've had to be effective today in order to prolong it. Which they can prolong for another couple weeks or so. They've decided on the partial, under the guise that we don't want to see people starve because the Democrats decided not to, once again after 13 or 14 votes not to open the government up. So they're trying to parlay it into a victory of sorts by saying, see, we did at least give you guys partial, snap payments for food. And so yeah, they are really, I mean, they're so apathetic around human rights and just serving the people. It's something I've never seen before. It's really, I mean, we're, we're really in a bad place. It, when you govern, when you win, you go get voted in as a majority, presumably, but then you still serve all of the people

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Thank you. Thank you. Keith,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

and.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

representing all the people.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

that's where the uh what do you call'em? The fascist in chief has fallen short because he's so divisive that if you're a Democrat, he thinks you're just, I mean, you're the worst of the worst. And that just, that's so illogical. It just speaks to his dimension. Nobody wants to talk about it, but there's,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

with that man.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

is something wrong with him. Him and hi. Him and his DEI. Uhhuh.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yep. He, he, sidebar. This has nothing to do with in insurrection Act.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

No. No.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

No. Yeah, that's fine.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

but real quick. Uh, the immigration refugee

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

in this country was 125,000. Now it's 7,500.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

He's clearly, he said, we are given preferential treatment to Africaners

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

right. Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

the farmers are having their land taken and they're being killed, and he held up some pictures of some bodies, which were from a thousand miles away. And, uh, D before.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Dar far. Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

right?

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

bodies were from, a couple thousand miles away, and when the president of South Africa tried to tell him, no, the farmers are not being killed, he didn't wanna hear it. don't care. Whatever, it comes out of his mouth. That's what it

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

That's what it is. Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

what it is. And he doesn't wanna hear anything else. He doesn't care about the truth. He doesn't

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

No,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

one in one is two. If he says it's three, it's three.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

that's it.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

That's where we're at. So to give racial preference, they said there will be no more black refugees coming into this country. Zero. He cut off all refugees from all black

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

and of the 7,500 that he is, uh, refugees, that he will allow into the country, most of those will be white. And a big majority of them coming from South Africa are given the preferential treatment.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

And those fact, and those individuals are, and I hate to paint it with a broad brush, are beneficiaries of apartheid system, which was like segregation. I mean, they.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Correct.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

ruled all the wealth and so forth. They took everything. And now they're saying, woe, it's me. But you know what?

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

is willing to embrace it because his whole notion of, uh, of uh, making America great again is extending privileges to people who look like him. And it has nothing to do with

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

somebody who looks like any of us, but anybody that looks like him, you draw a pass. And that's a reality. That's not.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

It would

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

happenstance or hearsay.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

no, I would think that some members of Congress would be able to bring a case against that policy and say, no, this is DEI.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

It's blatant on his face.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

It's

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

is DEI. You cannot give. Preferential treatment based on race.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

yourself said, you don't want that in this

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

you're bringing in people under preferential treatment,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

He is as confused and, and, and as, as phony a person. That's why nobody trusts him.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Well, it's back to what, but it's back to what you said. Mike, if he says it, up is down and down is up,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

and you don't have anybody who's willing to stand up to him, because the emperor has new clothes then basically they're gonna go along with whatever he says whenever he says it. And it doesn't, it doesn't matter. So his reality is totally different from most of our reality.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

uh, he has no concept of the truth or even abiding by the truth,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

no,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

so,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

has none,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah, well.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

What's that? UTCI.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

I have nothing to say or nothing to add. Nothing to add. I just wanted to point out the fact that I think something's coming down. but I do wanna wait, like you said, keep patiently to see what happens, November 4th, 2025, which comes out of that and how everyone responds to that.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

think that, they are laying the foundation of bigger things to come,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

even said it, he's, he's selling the military. Get ready for deployment. We,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

we'll

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

need you. We, we'll,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

the into these cities. We are gonna do it. We're gonna do it.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

is really, and now he wants to go into Mexico and Nigeria.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

is it Nigeria?

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

I don't know if it's it. It is.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

heard about Nigeria or Mexico,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

I don't

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

you mean? Invading.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yes. He wants to go.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

he wants

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

No, I hadn't heard that.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

they're killing the Christians in, in

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah. Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

I think that's Nigeria. Yeah.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

It's in Africa,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

with air with airstrikes

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

right?

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

the Muslims that are killing the

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Was that DAR four? Where the bloodshed. The bloodshed where you could see the blood from the satellite from outer space? No.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

not going in there.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

no, that, that is a different situation. can, that's a whole different topic

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah. Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

podcast. But he wants to go there. And of course, Mexico, he wants to fight the drug cartels,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

and that's what that's about. But, he's blowing steam.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

But he said he is not going into Venezuela, but I'll continue to bomb their boats.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right, right. And then if you're not going into Venezuela, well why did you send an aircraft carrier group in that direction?

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Come on,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

you doing? one thing, but the military is doing something different.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

what you say, but I see what you do

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

gonna trust what I see. What you do.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right, right, right. You can't believe him. And that's the problem with this whole, circling back around to the government shutdown, who's negotiating with somebody you can't negotiate with because he'll look you in your face and say, I'm gonna do this, and he'll do that. And so you, he can't be trusted, Mike. And that's the, that's the bottom line he's shown us. He's proven himself over and over and over again that he can't be trusted. So you can't bargain with somebody who you can't bargain with in good faith.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

That's true.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

is not his bond.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Uhuh.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

wouldn't, wouldn't shake his hand if, if they gave me half of his money and he got a lot of money.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Because you can't believe a thing he says.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

uh.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

This whole Venezuela thing, I kind of liken that into to how the drug wars were back in the eighties where all the people who were getting arrested were the street people.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

high level, getting busted and sent to jail for years.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

little small time dealers are on the corner fighting for. A piece of, territory who were getting swept up and these

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yep.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

on these boats are being the same, treated the same way,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

The same way.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

or

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

bombed, but they're still not getting their people at the higher levels

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

where the stuff is

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

right,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

put

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

right.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

the boat,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Kinda like the Epstein Island, all those high people in the high places that were, know, doing what they were doing to those little girls.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Uh, right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

we ain't, we, no, we ain't doing that, but.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Tom, I hate to say this, but I wouldn't be surprised if kickbacks from on high weren't ordered, and so, I mean, the cartels do what they do, but there's a price they may hand over fists, and so if they're dispersing a little bit of it for people to look. The other way

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

and to bomb the low, the low level people or, or take out the low level people, then so be it. But like you said, the fact, the sacrificial pig, the fat cats aren't getting touched,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

no. And you are right. That's how it works. They pay to import whatever they wanna import. You can get anything in the United States if you pay the right price. That's the bottom line. Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

All right guys, that's a quick episode for us. We touched on a couple of things that I want to hit on, in particular, the insurrection and how the military is encroaching. Our slowly, un uh, not necessarily invisible, under cloak, guess is the best way to put

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

definitely infringing on our, civil liberties, if you will.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right. Yeah.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

but surely peeling away until, uh, from the media standpoint, from freedom of speech to, at some point they're gonna be, Hey Mike, they're going to go against their own, uh, they love their second amendment, but at some point so that, citizens, don't have arms, they gonna peel that back a little bit. Right, and then you're gonna have to turn in everything you have so that you could be at a total disadvantage. I'm taking it to another level, but you know, that's, I wouldn't be surprised.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Oh yeah, you, yeah. I wouldn't be surprised. They gotta get that past the N-R-A-N-R-A ain't going for that.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

No wait.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah. You know what I, I failed to mention, I wanted to bring it up. The thing that happened right in our backyard, the Dearborn,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Uh,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

bust.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

about that for a second? Because that was something. I was telling Marsha it was fake and phony from the minute I heard it.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah, I thought about you when I, uh, when I saw some of the, the media information today in terms of them having, I think five people now, all of them are relatively young. And what really gets me is back to what I was saying about them, peeling away our rights to own, guns. They're, arresting these guys on the premise that they went out and bought, ars. And they had, ammunition and such in that there was a plan, Halloween to incite violence. But they're not providing much evidence to the, to that extent. They went to Dearborn where there's a high concentration of Muslims, uh, and, so far.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

and Patel made the announcement.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Patel is all about being out, front and center. And except for when he takes his girlfriend on the exclusive trips and the private planes, at our expense at the government's expense. But it's just to your point in time, when I first heard about it and I, and I started. Really pay attention. I said, I want to hear what's gonna come out of this. And so I've been really focusing on it. And so little by little they're releasing information and they're not being very specific, but it doesn't seem to be at a high level and they're trying to tie it to isis. And so, to me, if you're going to go about purchasing these weapons, which you don't have to register in ar by the way, typically it's undercover. It's on the black market. You don't want anybody to know. And a lot of times they get it without the serial numbers intact, right? But these people literally recently went out and purchased some weapons. Uh, they went, uh, to the range and they were firing them because why not? They're saying they begin to fire'em so they can become more, skillful in taking off their targets. And you can allege that's true. But if I go to the gun range to, use my nine millimeter per se, then I just want to be comfortable with using it. I want to be able to use it safely. I definitely want to be able to hit whatever target I'm aiming at and who buys a weapon or anything for that matter, and they don't try to become skillful at using it. So if, if,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

with the second amendment.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

No. I just threw that out there. That was an extreme. There's no problem. My point is.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

No, but my, but my point to what you're saying, okay, so what they bought guns,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Exactly.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

that's their

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

their right

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

they

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

there. That right,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

no, in other words, you've said all of that to say what? Because there's no crime in any of that.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

No crime.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

No.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

You can legally buy ars. You can legally buy ammunition. You can legally go to a range and practice as much as you want. That is not a crime.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

None at all.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Now, the oldest person arrested was 20 years old, and he still has not been charged,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

again. The

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

person that was arrested is 20 years old and

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

been charged with a crime.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

The youngest person was 14.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

None of them. None of the others are in custody. of the others are in custody. And the 20-year-old, I believe, is still in custody,

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

gonna have to release him real soon. Yeah. You don't have a crime.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

These kids were in a chat room.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

right.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

You don't plan a terror attack in a public chat room like that.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Even if you do it is conversation. It could be

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right. And that

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

it could be, it could be video game

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

could be jargon from any other thing you just, I mean to go as far to go as far as they went, the FBI and all that other stuff to go as far as they went. I just think they went too far over something that they're trying to cook up.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

It's extreme.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

To instill fear. Yeah. Yeah.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

and use Dearborn as device

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

hey, look, this is a little bit off target, but it's relative. So when, uh, uh, when the group of, Republicans, young Republicans went and they were sending texts and emails and back and forth, with racist, slang and so forth and talking about how they, support and love the Nazis, that was young people. Although they were. Over 30. But they were kids in the minds of our vice president. That was just poppycock. That was just, something that kids do because they're kids. You got these five who are much younger, 20 and down to age 14, and maybe you can look at them with the same kind of judgment, right? So I'm not saying that you. Take these things lightly, but just to be able to say, Hey, look, look at what we did. Look at what we're doing. No, that's, no, that's, that's, that's false. That's just them inciting and instilling and trying to instill fear in everybody

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

they're saying, look at us. Look at us. Look at what we're doing. We just stopped,

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

mm-hmm.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

attack,

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

not really

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Not really.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yeah.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

And just to give'em an excuse to go into Dearborn and start harassing those

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

Right.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

into Dearborn and harass him.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

even for the, to run up the quick reaction forces.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

You

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

or

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

Exactly, exactly.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

I apologies for letting that slip my mind I wanted to tie that back into insurrection and it kind of just slipped my mind.

keith_1_11-03-2025_170847

You do a good job, Mr. Corley.

michael-miller_1_11-03-2025_170847

Yes, sir. Yes sir. Absolutely.

thomas-corley_1_11-03-2025_170847

I appreciate that. All right, fellas. Once again, I think that was a pretty controversial one.
